Data collection for the 2024 Survey of Agricultural Economics (SEP)

The 2024 Agricultural Economic Survey (SEP), which was conducted in June, is one of a series of follow-up surveys in agriculture after the complete enumeration of the 2023 Census of Agriculture (ST).

The main objective of SEP 2024 is to obtain data on the economic aspects of agricultural business units, including income, expenditure, cost structure, and welfare indicators of agricultural business units in Indonesia. In addition, SEP 2024 also provides basic data to monitor several indicators of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in the agricultural sector. SEP business units covered are individual farm businesses (UTP), incorporated farm businesses (UPB) and other farm businesses (UTL).
