Tuesday (29/10), BPS Way Kanan Regency held a Focus Group Discussion (FGD) in the context of fostering Agency Statistical Agents (GESIT) at the Grand Sinar Hotel, Blambangan Umpu.
The purpose of this activity is to foster and strengthen the role of statistical agents in various government agencies in Way Kanan Regency.
After a speech given by the Head of the General Subdivision of BPS Way Kanan, Munir Novrianto, S.E., M.SE., this activity was officially opened by the Regional Secretary of Way Kanan Regency, Saipul, S.Sos, M.IP.
After that, award certificates were given to the Way Kanan Regency Government, the Health Office and the Way Kanan Regency Population and Civil Registration Office for their participation in the Evaluation of the Implementation of Sectoral Statistics (EPSS) Year 2024.
The activity continued with the presentation of material related to Satu Data Indonesia (SDI) by Ir. M. Azmi Masruri, S.T., M.T., Head of the Statistics and Signals Division of the Way Kanan District Communication and Information Office.
This activity was closed with a discussion of material on metadata and statistical recommendations by Risang Ayu Siwi Eka Putri, S.Tr.Stat.
Hopefully this activity can strengthen the capacity and better understanding of statistical agents about statistics, so that we can create a strong foundation for the development of more effective public policies.
