Tuesday (19/11) The Head of BPS Way Kanan Regency, Jua Mahardhika, S.ST., M.M. attended the Dissemination of Way Kanan Regency Stunting Case Audit Semester 1 Year 2024.

During the event, it was conveyed that stunting cases in Way Kanan Regency are still a big challenge that must be overcome. However, there are also signs of improvement with a decrease in stunting rates in several areas. This shows that the efforts made so far have yielded positive results. This was revealed by the Regional Secretary (Sekda) of Way Kanan Regency, Saipul, S.Sos., M.IP. who also attended the activity.

Saipul explained that the Way Kanan District government has formed a special team to carry out the Stunting Case Audit (AKS). This audit will be conducted twice a year, with the first period covering January to June (semester 1), and the second period from July to December (semester ll). This step is taken to periodically monitor and evaluate efforts to reduce the stunting rate.
