BPS Way Kanan Attends the National Coordination Meeting of Central and Regional Governments in 2024

Head of BPS Way Kanan Regency, Jua Mahardhika attended the National Coordination Meeting (Rakornas) on the Implementation of Central Government and Local Government organized by the Ministry of Home Affairs (Kemendagri) in Sentul, Bogor (7/11). The Rakornas was also attended by BPS Principal Secretary, Imam Machdi; BPS Deputy for Distribution and Services Statistics, Pudji Ismartini, along with Heads of Provincial BPS and Heads of Regency / City BPS throughout Indonesia.

The event was officially opened by the President of the Republic of Indonesia, Prabowo Subianto. In his speech, Prabowo emphasized the importance of joint collaboration from all decision makers to make Indonesia a developed country.

The event took place in four panel discussions with resource persons from ministers and leaders of state institutions in the Red and White Cabinet. With the theme “Implementation of Asta Cita Towards a Golden Indonesia 2045”, Minister of Home Affairs Tito Karnavian reported that the coordination meeting aimed to discuss the importance of governance and budget efficiency for the next five years.

The Rakornas was closed by the Vice President of the Republic of Indonesia, Gibran Rakabuming Raka. He again reminded that there should be no sectoral ego between agencies, both at the central and local governments.

The next day on Friday (8/11), the Central Bureau of Statistics also attended the National Coordination Meeting on the Submission of the BPS Work Plan for Fiscal Year 2025 at the STIS Polytechnic of Statistics.
