BPS Way Kanan Regency Completes Carrying Out Sakernas Data Collection in August 2023

BPS Way Kanan Regency is again implementing Sakernas August 2023. The general aim of collecting data on Sakernas August 2023 is to provide basic data on sustainable employment. In particular, Sakernas aims to obtain data estimates on the number of working people, the number of unemployed, and other employment indicators.

The implementation of Sakernas is divided into 2 stages, namely updating and collecting field data. At the updating stage, the aim is to update information on all households in the selected census block area, then a sample of households is drawn from each Census Block for further data collection. Updating will be carried out on 9-16 August 2023 while field data collection will be carried out on 15-31 August 2023.

The Sakernas sample for August 2023 was 601 households spread across 15 sub-districts with a total of 27 Field Data Collectors (PPL) and 14 Field Supervisory Officers (PML).

Currently, the field data collection stage has been completed and all respondents can be met and well received by Sakernas officers.
